Pollux Terrace
Is one of the best kept secrets of downtown Lisbon. Among the pots and pans of Pollux, the 9-store shop where you can find anything for the home, hides one of the most beautiful terraces overlooking the capital. Just take the elevator to the 8th floor, follow the stairs up to floor 9 and find the Lisbon rooftops at your feet. Plus: The terrace is relatively unknown, so it is possible to take the typical Portuguese breakfast – coffee with milk and bread toasted with butter – without the confusion of downtown cafes. The cafeteria doesn’t have a lot of offer in terms of pastry, but the coffee costs 50 cents and the view is worth it. In our Mouraria’s way.
