Visit the gastro-trendy neighborhood of Campo de Ourique!
At the end of the Tram #28 line starts a culinary journey through the gastro-trendy and multigenerational families neighborhood of Campo de Ourique. The streets are full of restaurants and cafes, where residents live a quieter life. Enjoy the terraces and streets full of small boutique shops as you walk through these quaint streets.
Campo de Ourique is a 19th-century neighborhood with a pioneering nature, boosting new food and lifestyle concepts, that has always attracted, thinkers, poets, artists, foodies, and chefs who reinvent traditional spaces and offer a more relaxed, professional, experimental gastronomy.
Throughout the food and culture walk, we take you on a foodie journey through renovated spaces, like the local food market, innovative places, like the bakery that bakes the best chocolate cake in the world, and other traditional restaurants and hidden gems where neighbors go for lunch or hang out.
Taste the very trendy and local food specialties of this neighborhood, dusted with historical insights and stories about food traditions and local life. During this six-stop tour, we lead you in groups small enough not to feel touristy, but rather like an intimate leisurely walk among friends through Lisbon.
We advise you to do this tour at the beginning of your stay in Lisbon to arm yourself with information, knowledge, and confidence to continue exploring the areas where locals live. Find out what and where to eat well!
Join us with a slightly hungry stomach — six modern and creative tasting stops are waiting for you.
